Phillip Palmer is an America anchor and reporter working for ABC 7 as a weekday midday anchor and community reporter. He joined the ABC 7 team in 1998, as a morning show anchor, weekend anchor, and general assignment reporter.

Lawton, Oklahoma is Palmer’s native home, and his family moved around so many times thus he has also resided in; Wichita, Kansas, Little Rock; Arkansas, Memphis, Tennessee; Evergreen, Colorado; Shreveport, Louisiana.

While Phillip resided in his adopted home of West Monroe, Louisiana, he graduated from high school in 1981. Later on, Palmer joined Northeast Louisiana University where he earned a degree in journalism and a minor in radio/TV/film in 1995.
